Our elders have invested time and resources to protect us and help resolve some of our toughest challenges. Far or near, keep having conversations with them. They deserve our support and care in normal times and all the more so in these extraordinary times. Happy World Senior Citizens Day.

The World Senior’s Citizen Day is celebrated on 21 August each year and is intended to increase awareness of the issues which may affect older adults, such as health deterioration and elder abuse. It is also a day to recognise, acknowledge and remember the contributions of older people to society.
