SIDREC held its annual Members Briefing on 27 August 2019. Representatives from Member companies were invited to attend the session to receive updates to SIDREC’s operations and Term of Reference. The session also served as an introduction and refresher for representatives who may not be familiar with SIDREC’s service and area of purview due to being newcomers or not encountering disputes before.
This year, SIDREC invited two members from its Panel of Mediators to provide some insights into the dispute resolution process including suggested practices for a smoother process between all parties. The session was extended due to the unexpected number of questions from the Members who were interested to know more about the process.
