The Securities Commission Malaysia’s annual flagship event InvestSmart® Fest (ISF) returns this year in its eighth installment. Held entirely virtually, the event would take place between 8 to 10 October 2021. In line with this year’s theme of “#JagaDiri #JagaPelaburan”, the event aims to promote investor empowerment and confidence by equipping investors with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions and identify and avoid scams.

In pursuance of this shared aim, SIDREC looks forward to being part of the event. If you invest in securities (e.g. shares and warrants), unit trusts, derivatives or Private Retirement Schemes and are keen to discover the recourse available to you in case of a dispute with your financial service provider, do drop by and start a conversation with us in the silver booth section at the Exhibition Hall.

Financial Consumer Investor Protection Resolving Disputes in the New Norm

SIDREC is also participating in a talk on the resolution of financial/capital market related monetary disputes in the new norm. It will see SIDREC’s Head of Dispute Resolution moderate a discussion between SIDREC’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the CEO of the Ombudsman for Financial Services. Tune in on 9 October 2021 between 1:00PM – 2:00PM at the Conference Hall for an informative session addressing your pressing questions.

SIDREC brochures and publications are also available for download at our virtual booth for further reading at your leisure. Be sure to stop by and say “Hi” to our representatives to learn more about SIDREC and how SIDREC can help with your investment disputes.
